Jason Atherton started out working alongside great chefs including Pierre Koffmann, Marco Pierre White, Nico Ladenis and Ferran Adria at el Bulli, before joining the Gordon Ramsay Holdings in 2001 and launching ‘Maze’, first in London and then another five globally. Jason opened ‘Pollen Street Social’ in April 2011 and now runs 16 restaurants internationally.
Dan began his career as a chef at the age of 23 at Alexander House Hotel in Sussex, as a Demi Chef De Partie. During his time working there, the restaurant gained 3 AA rosettes and Dan was promoted to Junior Sous Chef. After a couple of years, Dan decided to further his career and moved to London where he worked at Jason Atherton’s Michelin star restaurant Pollen Street Social, as Chef De Partie. Having worked under Jason for 4 years and being promoted to Sous Chef, Dan was then given the opportunity to join the King’s Social House team as Head Chef.
Daniel started his career within the wine industry in 2011, working as Sommelier Sales Assistant at the Gere Attila Winery in Hungary. In 2012, Daniel moved to L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon as Sommelier, later joining the team at The Chedi Hotel Andermatt in the Swiss Alps as Head Sommelier. In July 2017, Daniel moved to St.Moritz and is now Head Sommelier at Badrutt’s Palace team.
